My name is Alan James and this is my official website.
I'm still fairly new to the area since I've only recently moved here in 2025 from Dallas, Texas. I'm currently living in Sandy, Utah and I take portraits for people in the Salt Lake County area. I honestly really enjoy doing this from a personal standpoint. I've really enjoyed engaging with people and most of my work (professional and personal) to this point has involved directly working with people in some form or fashion. The other side is that I love all the of the different type of people I get to meet in all different sizes and shapes. People are unique and so is their story, and showcasing that is really the end goal in my photos. The who that is seen behind the what is being shown.
